Footballification is a term coined by radio presenter James O’brien to describe the way that the blind, unquestioning loyalty of football fans has been transferred to political figures & parties. This footballification leads to absolute belief in our political beliefs, and our favourite politicians, for example, the Brexit referendum, Boris Johnson or Donald Trump.

One of my first memories is my 4th birthday party. It was a joint party with my Brother whose birthday is close to mine.
I distinctly remember this photo being taken by my Father. My Mother who was out of shot told me & my Brother to make a wish and blow out the candles on our cakes.
I’m a risk-averse, scaredy-cat
I’m not a brave person, I’m risk-averse. I won’t put myself at risk, physically, mentally or financially without a full understanding of what I’m getting myself into.
Don’t get me wrong, I am stupid, I did invest in cryptocurrency. Although, I do think cryptocurrency of some sort does have a future, so I will hold on to the little I have for the time being.
More Blogging, Less TV Watching
One of my goals for 2023 is to blog more, not every day but at least once a week. These posts won’t necessarily be purely on this blog, if anything the majority of the posts will be on my Geeky Blog (geekystuff.co).
However, thanks to Bloganuary, the annual WordPress blogging campaign and its daily writing prompts I’ll be actively posting to this blog daily.
